The Mars Society is looking for volunteers for UKURC – a unique opportunity for space enthusiasts in the UK. Register here

The UKURC event is going to be a big splash, an official part of the European City of Science 2016, part of a global competition to produce Mars analogue rovers, and and an exciting chance to find out more about the space sector in the UK.

Cathedral Gardens LayoutUniquely we are creating our ‘Mars Yard’ in the centre of a bustling city, and it couldn’t be a better opportunity for the Mars Society to promote interest in Mars and space exploration to the public, students, and delegates at the ESOF (Euro Science Open Forum).

It’s a big ambitious event, and we need help with various things, from helping construct the Mars Yard on July 22nd, to assisting teams, manning stalls.

Perhaps you were curious about taking part in the competition this time around, but weren’t quite at the stage to be able to commit? Come along and find out what it’s about and you’ll be completely ‘in the know’ to be able to create a team for the 2017 competition.

Please feel free to email us with any questions info@marssoc.uk, or use the online form to sign up. We will be arranging a short briefing the day before the event, and also an opportunity to meet up with us on July 12th, so that you can meet us and find out more.
